Forecasts are guidance, not a safety guarantee

Weather changes quickly and every data source has limitations. Use Climara as one planning tool, not as your only source for important decisions.

For dangerous conditions

Follow official warnings from your national meteorological service, emergency services, civil-protection authorities and local government. Call the appropriate emergency number when immediate help is required.

Forecast uncertainty

Numerical models describe possible future conditions. Their accuracy decreases with time and can be affected by terrain, urban areas, coastlines, fast-developing storms and sparse observations. A high probability does not guarantee an event, and a low probability does not make an event impossible.

Radar limitations

Radar coverage varies by country and location. Images may be delayed, unavailable, blocked by terrain or unable to represent precipitation at ground level accurately. Apparent motion does not guarantee that precipitation will reach the selected point.

Automated risk indicators

Storm, hail, wind, rainfall and similar indicators are automated estimates. They are not official alerts and do not confirm that a hazardous event will occur at a specific place.

Specialised activities

Climara is not designed for aviation, marine navigation, emergency response, construction safety, medical decisions or other activities requiring certified or professional weather services. Use specialised authorised sources for those purposes.

No guarantee

Climara makes reasonable efforts to present available information clearly, but does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, timeliness, availability or suitability for a particular purpose.

Clear weather insight for everyday planning.
