The services behind Climara forecasts
Climara combines independent weather and hazard services, then transforms their data into its own summaries, comparisons and confidence indicators.

Forecast, historical, ensemble, geocoding and climate requests are primarily delivered through Open-Meteo. Climara combines and transforms those responses rather than reproducing a provider's interface. Open-Meteo API data is made available under the CC BY 4.0 licence. Location search data exposed through Open-Meteo is based on GeoNames. Climate summaries use the Open-Meteo Climate API and model data from the CMIP6 programme.
Forecast models
Depending on location and availability, Climara compares model guidance that includes ECMWF IFS, NOAA GFS and DWD ICON families. These model feeds are requested through Open-Meteo endpoints and then processed by Climara's comparison and confidence logic.
Radar
Radar timelines and imagery are supplied by RainViewer. Radar coverage, update timing and source-station availability vary by country and location. Weather data by RainViewer.
Surface observations
Where available, nearby METAR observations are obtained from the US National Weather Service Aviation Weather Center Data API. METAR stations are not available near every location and are used only as an additional comparison signal.
Natural hazards
Active natural-event context can be obtained from NASA EONET and the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System (GDACS). These feeds are contextual information and do not replace official local alerts or emergency instructions.
Independent processing
Provider names identify data origins only. They do not imply that a provider endorses, certifies or operates Climara. Availability, licences, model versions and provider terms can change independently.
