Terms of Use

Terms for using Climara

By using Climara, you agree to use the service responsibly and understand the limitations of forecast information.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1. The service

Climara provides weather forecasts, radar context, model comparisons, climate summaries and related informational features. The service is currently an independent, non-commercial project and may be changed, suspended or discontinued without notice.

2. Informational use only

Forecasts and risk indicators are estimates produced from third-party data and automated processing. They are not professional, emergency, aviation, marine, medical, agricultural or other specialised advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using the service.

3. Severe weather and emergencies

Do not rely on Climara as your only warning source. For dangerous weather, evacuations, travel restrictions or other emergencies, follow official meteorological services, emergency authorities and local instructions.

4. Availability and accuracy

Climara is provided on an "as available" basis. Data can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or inaccurate. No guarantee is made that the site will be uninterrupted or that a forecast will match conditions at a precise address or time.

5. Third-party services

Weather, radar, geocoding, mapping and hazard information may come from independent providers. Their data, availability, licences and terms remain under their control. References to a provider do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • attempt to disrupt, overload, bypass or compromise the service;
  • use automated access in a way that creates unreasonable load;
  • misrepresent Climara data as an official public warning;
  • copy or redistribute protected content in violation of applicable rights or provider terms;
  • use the service for unlawful or harmful activity.

7. Intellectual property

The Climara name, interface, original text, artwork and software are protected to the extent allowed by law. Third-party data, maps, icons and provider names remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate licences.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on inaccurate or unavailable forecasts, service interruptions, third-party data or decisions made using Climara. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after an updated version is published means the new terms apply from the stated update date.

10. Contact
